A teaser picture released by Lexus shows the crossover's front end with the brand's new grille style that merges into the bodywork.
Lexus is adding a new model to its European lineup called the LBX.
The car will be unveiled on June 5, Lexus said in a statement on Monday.
Lexus did not give any details about the vehicle, but “X” in a model’s name signifies a crossover or SUV in Lexus’ naming structure.
The addition of the letter “L” is new for the brand, which currently only uses two-letter names for its model lineup.
Media reports say that the car is a small hybrid crossover based on the Toyota Yaris Cross platform.
The LBX has a rear light graphic that runs across the rear of the car.

A small crossover would sit beneath the Lexus UX compact crossover to give the Toyota premium brand potentially its highest-volume model to date.
The UX was Lexus’ top-selling model in Europe in the first four months, with 1443 sold out of a 3,785 total for the brand, figures from Dataforce show. UX sales increased 85 percent during that period, helping to push Lexus’s sales up by 80 percent.
