Group 1 said the dealerships combined are expected to add about $150 million in annual revenue. Bill Scrivner and Mike Sims of Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions represented the seller in the transaction. 

The transaction was just for the Bentley dealership, which moved to Indianapolis. Brothers Greg and Mark Albers now operate Albers Motorcars as an independent specialist with a focus on parts and service for older Rolls-Royce and Bentley models.

This is Schreiber Automotive’s second dealership.

Performance Brokerage Services handled the transaction. 

These are DCD Automotive Holdings’ first dealerships in Rhode Island. Woody Woodward and John Hyland of DCG Acquisitions, a Dave Cantin Group company, handled the transaction. 

Hugh Morris of Dealer Support Network represented the buyer in the transaction. 

This is Troncalli Automotive Group’s fifth dealership, according to DCG Acquisitions, a Dave Cantin Group company, which handled the transaction. Mike Lacey and Brian Brown of DCG Acquisitions brokered the transaction.

This was CarMax’s last franchised dealership. Haig Partners represented the seller in the transaction. 

Nancy Phillips Associates handled the transaction.

The dealership sells Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands. Brown remains general manager.

AutoNation expects the stores, plus one collision center, to add $380 million in annual revenue. Peacock is retaining a Ford dealership in Maitland, Fla. Stephens Inc. advised the seller. The dealerships' former names were: Jaguar-Land Rover Columbia and Peacock Hyundai Columbia-Genesis of West Columbia in South Carolina; Hilton Head Volkswagen, Peacock Hyundai Hilton Head-Genesis of Hilton Head, Peacock Subaru, Audi Hilton Head, Porsche of Hilton Head, Jaguar-Land Rover Hilton Head and Peacock Jeep-Dodge-Ram-Chrysler, all in Hardeeville, S.C.; Peacock Hyundai Savannah and Savannah Volkswagen, both in Georgia. The new names are: Jaguar-Land Rover Columbia, AutoNation Hyundai Columbia-Genesis of West Columbia, AutoNation Volkswagen Hilton Head, AutoNation Hyundai Hilton Head-Genesis of Hilton Head, AutoNation Subaru Hilton Head, Audi Hilton Head, Porsche Hilton Head, Jaguar-Land Rover Hilton Head, AutoNation Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram Hilton Head, AutoNation Hyundai Savannah-Genesis of Savannah and AutoNation Volkswagen Savannah.

This is Karl Malone Auto Group’s third dealership in Utah and sixth rooftop overall. Performance Brokerage Services handled the transaction.

The BMW store was Asbury’s lone location in Charlottesville, and the group has exited that market. Presidio Group represented Asbury in the transaction.

These are Ken Garff’s first stores in Colorado and Wyoming.

This is Lithia’s first dealership in Georgia. Brian Brown and Dave Cantin of DCG Acquisitions, a Dave Cantin Group company, represented Curry in the transaction.

Gray is staying as general manager. No brokers were used in the transaction.

These are Speigl’s first dealerships. Neither party used a broker.

This is Ken Garff’s second dealership in Arizona. Kerrigan Advisors represented the seller in the transaction. Ken Garff also bought Earnhardt Kia in Phoenix on Aug. 9 from Earnhardt Auto Centers.

This is West Herr’s second Subaru dealership. No brokers were used in the transaction.

With the acquisition, Sonic has seven Audi franchises and four Volkswagen franchises in its portfolio.

Razick is the sole owner of the Ford dealership. Razick also owns Hyundai of Yuma and Kia of Yuma, in Arizona, with partner Adli Kakish.

The four bought the two stores from the trust of former owner VeDova, who died in June 2020. Romano was previously general manager of the stores while Davis was CFO. Romano, who is still general manager, is now also dealer principal of the Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram store, and Schmidt is dealer principal of the Hyundai dealership. Schmidt is CEO of National Business Brokers Inc. in Irvine, Calif. Mull is the firm's director.

This is Island Auto Group’s first Chevrolet dealership. No brokers were used in the transaction.

This is Hamze’s first franchised dealership. He also owns two used-vehicle dealerships.

This is Castle Automotive’s first Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealership. The group now has eight dealerships across suburban Chicago and Northwest Indiana.

This is Ken Garff Automotive’s first Kia franchise and first dealership in Arizona. Kerrigan Advisors represented Earnhardt Auto Centers in the sale.

Dan Murphy of D.T. Murphy & Co. brokered the transaction.

This is Schomp Automotive’s first Nissan dealership. National Business Brokers represented Schomp in the transaction.

This is LaFontaine’s first Lincoln outlet. The store has temporarily moved to its Ford of Flushing store in Michigan while it builds a standalone store at a new location in Genesee County, Mich. LaFontaine worked with broker Performance Brokerage Services in the transaction. 

This is Foundation’s second Hyundai dealership and 18th store in the U.S. Josh Letis, managing partner of Foundation’s Medved Autoplex — which includes Cadillac, Chevrolet and Kia stores in Wheat Ridge, Colo., as well as Foundation Hyundai in Westminster, Colo. — will also be managing partner of the Boulder location.

Tovstanovsky and his family own a used-vehicle business, Prestige Motor Works, in Naperville, Ill. Arenson Law Group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, represented the seller in the transaction, while Chicago lawyer Ira Levin represented the buyer. 

This is Yan Chertok and Arthur Boguslavskiy’s second franchised dealership. Rob Lee of Tim Lamb Group brokered the transaction.

This is the Carlsons’ first dealership. Performance Brokerage Services brokered the transaction.

This was Sonic’s first franchised dealership acquisition since November 2014. The Subaru dealership marks a return to the Japanese brand for Sonic, which last owned a Subaru dealership in 2019. Sonic now has three Volkswagen dealerships. Bubar is retiring, according to Kerrigan Advisors, which represented him in the transaction.

With this acquisition, Ed Morse Automotive now has each of the Detroit 3 automakers represented in Texas.

This marks the first stores in Wisconsin for Zeigler and also its first Toyota and Hyundai dealerships.

This is Adel Dealerco’s first dealership acquisition. Its majority owner is Orlando Rentco, and minority owners are Mark Zurales and Sandy Miller, former CEO of Budget Group Inc. Orlando Rentco owns Advantage Rent a Car. Bill Fields of Dealer Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions represented the seller in the transaction.

This store is Lithia’s first in Alabama. Haig Partners represented the seller in the transaction.

Ozog Consulting Group represented the seller in the transaction.

Johnson is the store’s finance manager, and this is Hoffer’s first dealership purchase. Tim Wild of Tim Lamb Group represented the buyer in the transaction.

The transaction also included Audi Service Conshohocken and the Warehouse, a used-vehicle dealership, both in Conshohocken, Pa. These are Sobel’s first dealerships in Pennsylvania. Sobel also has dealerships in New Jersey and New York.

Crane moved the Chevrolet franchise a little more than a mile north to Niles, Ill.

Wahlberg and Feldman are partners in several dealerships in Columbus, Ohio, area. Tim Lamb Group handled the transaction. 

The dealership moved to Salida, Colo. 

Hicks Management & Consulting Group represented the sellers in the transaction. 

LaFontaine now has 25 Michigan locations. Dealer Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions represented LaFontaine in the transaction. 

These are Umansky Automotive’s first dealerships in California. It also has dealerships in Mississippi, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Virginia. With the transaction, Qvale Automotive has exited California and has four rooftops in Florida. Presidio Group represented Qvale in the Livermore transaction. Umansky Automotive did not use a broker.

Kerbeck’s dealership was the highest-volume Chevrolet Corvette seller in the country. Bel Air Partners, a buy-sell advisory firm in Hopewell, N.J., represented the sellers in the transaction. 

George Pero and Joe Beaver of DCG Acquisitions, a Dave Cantin Group company, handled the transaction. 

This is Boyd’s first dealership. Turner Chevrolet previously had a Cadillac franchise, but General Motors terminated it before the transaction’s closing. Don Brown of Midwest Brokerage in St. Louis represented Williams in the transaction.

This is Dunhill Auto Group’s first franchised dealership. Dunhill has four used-vehicle dealerships in New Jersey, in the New York City area. Rich Weitzman of Colliers International represented Peruzzi Auto in the transaction. Aboyoun Dobbs represented Dunhill Auto as its legal counsel in the transaction.

This is MacNeil’s first dealership. He is CEO of WeatherTech. George Pero, Alex Covino and Joe Beaver of DCG Acquisitions, a Dave Cantin Group company, handled the transaction. 

Rosenberg now has four dealerships. Nancy Phillips Associates represented the seller in the transaction. The seller also worked with lawyer Erik Barstow of Integral Business Counsel law firm, while the buyers worked with lawyer Bob Macdonald of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson. Todd Merriam of O’Connor & Drew was accountant on the transaction. 

Time Auto now has five franchised dealerships in Oregon. It also owns D&C Motor Co., a used-vehicle dealership in Portland that specializes in European luxury brands. George Pero and Joe Beaver of DCG Acquisitions, a Dave Cantin Group company, handled the transaction.

This is Stuckey Automotive’s second Ford dealership and fifth store overall. Neither party used a broker in the transaction. Confer still owns Joel Confer Toyota-BMW in State College, Pa.

The dealership will relocate to a nearby location. No broker was used in the transaction. 

Gurley Leep is moving the Honda franchise from Marshalltown to Altoona, Iowa, where the group plans to build a 30,000-square-foot dealership and name it Honda of Altoona. Gurley Leep estimates that the new dealership will open around July 2023.

Mark Johnson and Mark Topping of MD Johnson represented the seller in the transaction.

Don Brown of Midwest Brokerage represented the buyer in the transaction, while Greg Errion Consulting represented the sellers.

Michael’s Toyota of Bellevue is the largest Toyota store in Washington state based on new-vehicle sales. Paulson, a minority partner and general manager at both stores, is staying on as general manager. Mark Johnson and Mark Topping of MD Johnson represented Broadus.

Phillipos also owns Chevrolet of Homewood.

The Arkansas acquisitions mark the group’s first Chevrolet and Ford-Lincoln stores. Karl Malone Auto Group, owned by basketball Hall of Famer Karl Malone, also has two dealerships in Utah: Karl Malone Toyota in Draper and Karl Malone Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram in Heber City, as well as Karl Malone Toyota of Ruston in Ruston, La.  No brokers were used in the Arkansas transaction.
