Kerrigan Advisers represented Lasher Auto in the sale. Stephen Dietrich, Sarah Seeding and Karl Lott of Holland & Knight were legal counsel to the seller. David Meyer, Gus Paras and Hen Amir were legal counsel to the buyer.

The dealership also sells Bentley, Lotus, Karma, Morgan, Rimac, Pininfarina and SSC vehicles. Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions represented Lithia in the transaction.

Moreland Auto is owned by Doug Moreland and partners. Moreland said his partners are Alex Jannicelli at City Auto Plaza, Carl Ventsam at the Acura store and Colorado Springs Dodge, his son, Brandon Moreland, and family at Brandon Dodge, and James Jannicelli at Colorado Springs Dodge and the Acura dealership. AutoNation said the acquisition was expected to add $320 million in annual revenue. W.G. Nielsen & Co. was a financial adviser to Moreland Auto in the transaction. 

 Kevin Timson of ArentFox Schiff counseled the seller while Stevan LaBonte of LaBonte Law Group in Jericho, N.Y., represented the buyers. A wholesale parts store was included in the transaction. 

Cano is president and operating partner of the store.

The other new names are: Safford Brown Mazda Fairfax, Safford Brown Nissan Fairfax, Safford Brown Hyundai Leesburg, Safford Brown Hyundai Manassas, Safford Brown Kia Manassas, Safford Brown Subaru Manassas, Safford Brown Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram, Safford Brown Volkswagen Richmond and Virginia Auto Outlet.

James Mitchell and Erin Rice of Cushman & Wakefield Dealership Capital Services advised the seller.

The transaction also included a collision center.

Ridder is the daughter of the sellers who are retaining a minority stake. Drew Bray and Chris Teape of National Business Brokers facilitated the transaction. 

Falzon and Pascotto also owned Signature Ford in Perry, Mich. That store was consolidated into the Owosso store, and Lunghamer is operating it as a used-vehicle sales and service location. Paul Kechnie of Performance Brokerage Services facilitated the transaction. Signature Lincoln in Owosso was sold earlier to a different buyer and relocated.

The Buick brand will cease operations at the store in up to 120 days, under a termination agreement with General Motors.

This is Serra’s first Lexus dealership. Kerrigan Advisors represented the sellers in the transaction.
